Attributes & Rarity

Attributes are the engine under the hood. They determine how a player actually performs on the pitch, and their rarity tier tells you just how special they are.

The Six Core Attributes

Every player has six stats that define their ability:

AttributeAbbrWhat It Controls
PacePACSpeed and movement
ShootingSHOShot accuracy and finishing
PassingPASPassing precision and crossing
DribblingDRIBall control and beating opponents
DefenseDEFTackling and shot blocking
PhysicalPHYEndurance, duels, and performing under pressure

These six stats combine to produce the player's Overall Rating (OVR), but it's not a simple average.

Overall Rating (OVR)

OVR is a weighted average that depends on the player's primary position.

A striker's OVR leans heavily on SHO, PAC, and DRI. If those stats are high, the OVR reflects it, even if DEF is rock bottom.

Two players with identical raw attributes can have different OVR ratings if they play different positions. Always check individual stats, not just the headline number.

Rarity Tiers

A player's rarity is determined by their OVR at minting. Here's how the tiers break down:

Rarity tier designs and OVR ranges

RarityOVR RangeApprox. % of Players
Common32--54~44%
Limited55--64~35%
Uncommon65--74~17%
Rare75--84~4%
Legendary85--94<0.4%
Ultimate95+Progression only

Ultimate players can't be minted. The only way a player reaches 95+ OVR is through development and progression over time. If you see one on the market, someone put in serious work to get them there.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Percentages shift as players develop. A Common player who grows into 65 OVR becomes Uncommon. The distribution evolves with the game's economy.
  • Rarity affects market value. Higher rarity means higher demand, higher prices, and more impact on the pitch.

Reading Attributes Like a Scout

Don't just look at OVR. A 70-rated midfielder with elite PAS and low DEF plays completely differently from a 70-rated midfielder with balanced stats across the board. The attribute profile tells you how a player fits your system, or doesn't.
