Arena FAQ
Is Arena free?
Yes. You need an MFL account and nothing else. Gems bundles and the Premium Season Pass are optional.
Do I need a wallet, crypto or a Pro Manager club?
No. Sign up at app.playmfl.com and you can found your Arena club straight away.
How many matches can I play a day?
As many as you like, one at a time. But only your first 2 matches each day are development matches, and Season Pass XP tapers off after your 5th match of the day.
Why didn't my players progress after a match?
Only your first 2 matches each day give player XP. Check the Development matches counter on the play screen. It resets at midnight UTC (01:00 CET). A player also needs minutes: an unused substitute earns very little. And a forfeited match gives no XP.
Can I skip an opponent I don't like?
No. Once an opponent is drawn, the match is played. If you don't start it, it kicks off on your saved squad.
What happens if I close the app mid-match?
The match keeps going. Come back and hit Resume match. Only Forfeit ends it early, as a 0-3 loss.
When does the week reset?
Every Monday at 23:00 CET (22:00 UTC). Daily things (development matches, daily challenges and quests, the login streak) reset at midnight UTC.
I didn't get my weekly reward. Why?
You need to play 10 matches during the week, and from the Pro division up, win 5 of them. If you qualified, claim it from the hub: it waits for you until you do.
What happens at the end of a season?
Every club drops 8 tiers (never below Amateur III) and climbs again, and a new Season Pass starts. Claim your Season Pass rewards before the season ends. Your squad, your players and your Gems stay with you.
Can I sell my Arena players?
No. Arena players play in Arena only and can't be sold or traded. Pro players can be sold on the MFL market. See Players.
Can I use my Pro players in Arena?
Yes, if they aren't under contract at a Pro Manager club. Once they're in your matchday squad for an Arena match, they can't play in Pro Manager until the end of the Pro Manager season. See Arena and Pro Manager.
Can I turn Gems into $MFL?
No. You can convert $MFL into Gems (10 $MFL = 1 Gem, up to 25,000 $MFL a week), but not the other way. See Gems and the Store.
