Gems and the Store

Gems are Arena's currency. You earn them by playing and climbing, and spend them in the Store on packs and boosts.

The short version

  • Earn Gems from your weekly reward, your login streak, your first win of the day, quests, the Season Pass and referrals.
  • Spend Gems on packs (new Arena players) and OVR boosts.
  • Top up with Gems bundles, or convert $MFL into Gems.
  • Gems stay in Arena: they can't be turned into $MFL and can't buy Pro packs.

Earning Gems

  • Climb. Your weekly reward pays Gems by the tier you finish in, up to 3,000 a week for Legend. Reaching a new tier pays out too.
  • Show up. Your daily login streak, your first win of the day, and daily and weekly quests all pay Gems.
  • Level up your Season Pass and refer friends.

Spending Gems

Arena packs

Packs bring new Arena players into your club

Packs

Each pack signs 5 Arena players to your club: a headline player rated at least the number on the pack, and four squad players a little weaker. Packs go from 30+ (50 Gems) to 80+.

Your new players join your squad. If it's full, they wait in your reserve. Arena players from packs can't be sold. See Players.

Boosts

An OVR boost gives a player +1 OVR for his next 15 Arena matches in your matchday squad. Boosts are sold by rarity, from 10 Gems for a Common player, and the boost must match the player's rarity. They stack up to +3 OVR on one player.

Store boosts fit your Arena players and your Pro players. On a Pro player, the boost plays in Arena only and his Pro card never changes.

Getting More Gems

Gems bundles

Gems bundles, from 100 to 12,500 Gems

Gems bundles start at $0.99 for 100 Gems, paid by card in the Store. Bigger bundles add bonus Gems.

Holding $MFL? Convert it in the Store at 10 $MFL = 1 Gem, up to 25,000 $MFL a week.

Gems stay in Arena. They can't be turned back into $MFL, and they can't buy Pro packs or Pro players.
