The Ladder

The ladder is your career in Arena. Win matches, earn Arena Points (AP), and climb from Amateur all the way to Legend.

The short version

  • A win earns 25 to 50 Arena Points (AP), sometimes more. Every 100 AP is a new tier, and three tiers make a division.
  • Promotion is automatic, and relegation is forgiving.
  • The week resets every Monday at 23:00 CET (22:00 UTC). A season lasts 6 weeks.
The Arena divisions

Amateur, Prospect, Semi-Pro, Pro, Elite, Champion, World-Class, Master, Legend

The Divisions

Seven divisions, Amateur, Prospect, Semi-Pro, Pro, Elite, Champion and World-Class, each with 3 tiers from III up to I. Every tier is 100 AP. Above them sits Master, from 2,600 AP, and at the very top Legend: the 20 best managers in Master.

Everyone starts in Amateur III.

Arena Points

Arena Points after a win

Every win moves you up

A win earns 25 to 50 AP, sometimes more. A loss costs 15 to 35, and a draw moves you a few points. A win never costs you AP and a loss never earns you any.

Behind your AP sits a hidden MMR, a rating of how strong your club really is. Arena uses it to pick your opponents and to steer your AP toward your true level.

Promotion and Relegation

Promotion is automatic: reach the AP of the next tier and you're there.

Promoted

Every new tier gets its moment

Relegation is forgiving: one bad result at the bottom of a tier usually won't send you down. A losing run will.

Weeks and Seasons

The Arena week runs from Monday 23:00 CET (22:00 UTC) to the next Monday at the same time. When the week ends:

  • Your weekly reward is ready to claim, based on the tier you finish in. See Rewards.
  • Weekly challenges and weekly Gems quests start over.
  • Your AP stays where it is.

A season lasts 6 weeks. When a season ends, every club drops 8 tiers (two full divisions and two tiers) and starts at the bottom of its new tier. A Master club lands in Elite II, for example. Nobody drops below Amateur III. Your squad, your players and your Gems stay with you.

The Ladder Screen

The Ladder tab shows the top of the ladder, every division's standings, and where you are. Arrows show who moved up or down since the last update.
